I'm sure most people have been to Vancouver at least once in their life time and after a while it doesn't seem like there's anything left to do if you don't have friends or family in the city. But if you enjoy eating and is up for trying new places there is always somewhere to go.
First thing we’ll do when we get to Vancouver depending on
the time is go for some good dim sum. I’m
not saying the dim sum in Calgary isn’t good just what they offer in Vancouver
is better. Dim sum is not necessarily
cheaper in Vancouver but they just have a wider selection to choose from.
Next we’ll spend some time walking around trying to walk off
all the food we had during lunch to make room for more food. Depending on which part of the city we are in
there are always some little specialty food shop to try as a light snack before
dinner.

When dinner time comes around there are always tons to
select from but no matter what we select we always have to have Japanese for dinner
at least one night during the time we are there.

After dinner comes the drinking usually. As you can see in some of the photos my friends aren’t exactly please with the amount we are drinking. Depending on the amount we drink and who is still sober after a crazy night we’ll usually head over to a restaurant called No. 9 for some late night Chinese food because they are opened 24 hours a day. This is the typical rundown for a day in
Vancouver. Depending on the day we will
have 5 to 6 meals that day.
Some of the activities that we fill our days with are a day at the Vancouver Aquarium, Stanley Park, Granville Island, English Bay, Robson Street and downtown Vancouver, Grouse Mountain, Metropolis at Metrotown, the different Asian centers in Richmond, Night Market, and anything else that might catch our attention because during the summer months there is always something happening in some part of Vancouver or Greater Vancouver.

There are also some must try food when in Vancouver. There's a few really good ramen places that are just outside Stanley Park so after a nice workout biking around the park stop by for some yummy ramen. You won't be disappointed. Also, Japadog is a must try. I know it may sound weird and you're wondering what a Japadog is. It started as a food stand ran by a couple who moved from Japan to Canada. Slowly they started making a name for themselves now they have multiple stands at different location in downtown Vancouver as well as a store.
