Traditional Japanese food

Soba, is native Japanese noodle and made by buckwheat flour (soba-ko), and wheat flour (Komugi-ko).  My friend Mel and I love eating Japanese soba, but it is about $15 for a small bowl at restaurants. A small bowl could not even act as a mini snack for me.Therefore, we decided to make my own!
It was not hard to make, and it only took about 15-20 minutes and cost $17 Canadian Dollar. In contrast, we have so much left.
Ingredients:
Soba -Superstore for $5
Green onions  3 serve for $3
Wasabi $4
Nori Seaweed
Soba Sauce $5-we got it from the Korean Store at 10S.T.-12 Ave. S.w.

How to:  Servings:

1. Boil soba (250ML) for about 5-6 minutes or until soft
2. Finely chop green onions (125ML)
3. Finely cut seaweed,  and I found using scissors was the best
4. Drain noodles into colander until no more water came out
5. Rinse noodles with cold water until water runs clear, and I also left the soba in the cold water for 5 minutes.
6. Let noodles drain.
7. Add 1:1 concentrated soba sauce with cold water.
8. Combine all ingredients together and enjoy!

We also pan seared some shrimp for some meat! You can use any meat you like!
