Travelling flexibility

Planning a trip can be the most difficult and stressful task. Many people cancel trips or don't travel at all because of airfare prices. Budgeting for a trip beforehand is very important so when you are on the journey you don't have to worry about running out of money. The first thing that needs to be budgeted is your airfare. According to a blog by Mitch Lipka called Catch the Moving Target of Airfare Pricing, airlines are allowed to change fares on a flight up to once per hour.

In such cases, travellers need to be keeping an eye out for when airfare goes the lowest before purchasing. Planning a trip anywhere in the world is best if you start months before the day you depart. The blog stated that on average the cheapest fare will be six months before the day you catch your flight. It is also very important to be flexible on the days you would like to travel to get you the best rate possible. Lipka mentioned that the cheapest airfare will typically be on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Saturday of the week.

In conclusion, my advice for airfare is shop around months in advance for flights. When a flight is found that is in your budget or below pounce on it right away as there will only be limited seats for that price. Have your days flexible and continue researching every week to get yourself the best deals. Also, travelling off season will result in you getting cheaper deals on many packages as airlines want to advertise to get more people to travel. Don't cancel trips just budget them better. Life is too short so go to your dream destination when desired.
