Las Vegas

I recently turned 21, so the first thing I wanted to do is go to Las Vegas. I went to Las Vegas with one of my best friend, Leslie. We went for 5 days and 4 nights. Las Vegas was everything I thought it would be. There were lights everywhere, the nightlife was lively and the shopping was amazing. We stayed at Aria hotel. Aria hotel was a little off the Las Vegas strip. But we were still able to walk from place to place.

One the first day, we went shopping at the north and south outlets. At the north outlet it was all outside stores which consisted of the Nike store, juicy store and coach store etc. I personally thought that the north outlet was better than the south outlet because there were more variety of stores and you got to enjoy the outdoors.

The next day we went to our hotel’s pool. The pool was pretty big, it had many chairs where everyone was sun tanning. While we were sun tanning, we had these very drinks. It was really hot that day, and once we went back to our hotel, we realized we got burned! Our skin was bloody red and peeling but we decided to get on with our day and went shopping at the fashionshow mall. After shopping one went to a DJ event named Steve Aoki at the XS nightclub. The show he put on was really cool and different from the ones I’ve been to in Calgary. Steve Aoki had a blown up boat and a cake which he threw at someone’s face!


The next day, we decided to walk the Las Vegas strip and look at the other hotels that were there. There were really unique things like the M&M store, the water fountains, and the all the stores and casinos within the hotels. During the night, we watched a Cirque du Soleil show. The one we saw was called KA, it was about two twins that were separated and were trying to find each other. Those were some of the things that I did in Las Vegas. I am very glad I got a chance to experience it with my friend and cannot wait to go back!
