Day trip to Niagara Falls

Last summer, my boyfriend and I traveled to Toronto to visit a few of our closest friends, and later they took us to the famous Niagara Falls. There were two falls at Niagara, and they were very close to each other. The first one was the famous horseshoe-shaped waterfalls, which was the most powerful waterfalls (vertical height along with flow rate) in North America. The other one was a straight curtain falls (American Falls). These falls sit on the border between Canada and the USA, splitting the two countries apart. Some Canadian said Niagara Falls were the gifts for the Canadians because we received the better view of the falls from the north. Yet Americans argued the same issue, for they regard at a better angle. From the Canadian side, you can view the both falls straight on, with the obstacle in the way.

The waterfalls were magnificent, which opened my eyes. Thousands tons of water fell from the top of the falls, which made a huge sound like a bomb exploded. Later, strapped ourselves with raincoats, we took the boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. It was like walking in heavy rainstorm but ten times heavier. That was an unbelievably adventure I had never had before. Even though I described so much about the falls, it has to be seen in person. That was an impressive trip, and I hope I could have the chance to see the falls again.
