Lakes

Lakes, they can be used in so many different ways, whether it's going for a dip, or going out on your boat and trying to catch some fish, it's fun any way you slice it. Then there are some lakes that you just want to site on a bench and stare at because of it's sheer beauty. It's crystal blue color and calm waves crashing against the beach can be very soothing. I have seen a lot of lakes and some are definitely more memorable then some others, Lake Minnewonka comes to mind as does the Spray lakes which are up in the mountains after a very long hike and are just an amazing thing to see. Lake Louise is always a beautiful lake to see, nested  nicely within the mountains but one of my favorites is lake Osoyoos in the Southern interior of British Columbia, one of the warmest places year around in Canada, the lake isn't too cold and is also a very nice lake with beaches surrounding it.
I did some research and found some really gorgeous lakes, all around the world, and to my surprise there were Canadian Lakes on some lists, well I'm not to surprised. The usual culprit of Lake Louise was there but also Lake Peyto which is located in Banff national park. Then of course there is the great lakes in Ontario and surrounding area, which may not be the prettiest lakes but definitely gives tons of opportunities for fishing and other such activities.
