Qishan
Style Noodles
In Xi’an, you can see Qishan style Noodles restaurant anywhere. This
kind of snack has a really funny and historical story. Qishan, where is the place of origin,
is situated to the west of Shaanxi province. Long time ago, there was a monster
killed a lot of people and made citizens’ life miserable. King Wen of Zhoustate was really brave and intelligent. In order to solve this problem, he
killed this monster and made sure all the citizens in the town were safe.
In memory of him, people cooked this monster by the meanings of getting
away bad luck. This noodle tasted sour and a little bit spicy. The soup is made
of shopped pork, red pepper, tofu, potato, egg pancake, carrot, vinegar,
ginger and soy sauce. The noodle is man made, so it tasted chewy. When noodles
and soup are mixed, put green onion on the top of the soup. Just like the
picture is shown below.

tasty Xi'an specialty that consists of a mutton soup served with wheat flour
flat bread. The hard bread is broken up and added to the soup. Then the mixture
is eaten along with pickled garlic cloves. It makes for a hearty, filling meal that is
not very expensive. This Xi'an specialty can be found at several restaurants
that have become famous for their delicious shredded pancake in mutton soup, as
well as a small "mom and pop" restaurants throughout Xi'an. Xiguan shredded
pancake in mutton soup Restaurant, Tongshengxiang Restaurant, and Chunfasheng Restaurant
are all good places to go for this tasty meal.

Chinese
hamburger is also welcome by people all over the world. As you can see, inside
the hamburger is spiced beef or pork. The meat is really special. The chef choose
tendon, which is the best part to stew in soy sauce. There are almost 20 ingredients
in the marinade. It’s hard to describe because most of them are traditional Chinese
sauces and ingredients.
