A Large Company or a Small Company ?

Nowadays, getting a stable job is very difficult because of the world is in the process of globalization. Some people want to work for a large and international company, like Microsoft, Google, Dell and so on. However, people in different cultures have different perceptions about their personal value. Some people are more conservative,  so they are more likely to prefer staying in a small and simple company where they know all of their colleagues and businesses. Personally, I agree the former idea for some reasons.

First of all, a large firm often has huge resources, professional equipment and cozy environment. That means its employees have an access to have comfortable working conditions. At the same time, they are getting involved and engagement in their organization. Based on the variable resources in the company, they can get more information about the current situation around the world; meanwhile, we have more opportunities to go business because these companies are usually properly international corporations or transnational enterprises.

Furthermore, working for a large company is that we can improve ourselves as much as possible. The more employees the company has, the harsher competition we have to face to. By the way, the employees must try their best to improve themselves to adapt the harsh competition in order not to be out of work. Then, we will be more confident and successful.

Another advantage of working for a large company is that several hundred employees the company has is a good chance to meet and make friends with new people who has same ideas. That makes our working more easily and exciting.

Overall, I prefer to be a small fish in a large  pool rather that a big fish in the small pool.
